Warranty Policies & Returns

Kayak Detail does extensive research to bring you the best quality products from top brands. However, from time to time, some products do fail during normal use as a result of a manufacturing defect. We have great relationships with all of our suppliers and we work hard to determine if your product can be replaced by the manufacturer’s warranty. When we receive a product covered by the manufacturer's warranty, it is the client responsibility to recover the product within 30 days at the address of Kayak Detail listed on the website. In the event that the 30-day period is exceeded, the guaranteed product is then returned to the manufacturer.

Kayak Detail accepts exchanges or replacements within a maximum of 20 days from the date of purchase for any item delivered and received by the customer as new. After 20 days, there is no replacement or exchange possible. No pre-order can be refunded or exchanged. It is important to keep all original labels and packaging in order to optimize the return. Only the manufacturer's warranty can be applied. The delivery costs for a return are the responsibility of the customer. No refund, return or exchange on a gift certificate. No refund of goods is possible at Kayak Detail.

If you get a credit note after an exchange or a replacement, you have 180 days from the date of purchase to make full use of this credit. After 180 days, the credit note becomes invalid. Once a credit note is coordinated with the customer, a period of 14 days is granted to him so that he can send the merchandise credited to Kayak Detail. If the merchandise is not received by Kayak Detail within 14 days, the credit is then invalid and the merchandise, if received is returned to its recipient.

Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to the total weight of the shipment. We want to save you on shipping so we advise our customers who are purchasing multiple items to combine orders and buy items together as shipping fees are paid for each separate order. Packages are dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects. Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.
